Indoor AirPlus Leader Awards

Indoor AirPlus Leader Award Plaque

Apply by 8 p.m. ET, September 25, 2026

Indoor AirPlus Leader Award Winners are recognized as market-leading program  partners who construct and verify Indoor AirPlus homes designed and built for improved indoor air quality. Builder and verification organization winners are featured on the Indoor AirPlus website and gain access to special recognition marketing materials such as Leader Award banners.

EPA will also announce two Indoor AirPlus Leader of the Year Awards to an outstanding builder partner and verification organization partner, selected from the pool of Leader Award winners.

The builder and verification organization Leaders of the Year will be chosen for their Indoor AirPlus contributions over the previous year, based on the evidence and quality of their Leader Award application. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase great work!


Eligibility and Application Process

Completed applications and supplemental material should be submitted to Indoor_AirPlus@epa.gov by 8 p.m. ET, September 25, 2026.

All applicants must submit a complete application, be in good standing as an Indoor AirPlus partner and with the EPA regarding compliance with all applicable regulations, and meet the following minimum Indoor AirPlus participation levels:

  • Indoor AirPlus 2026 Leader Award - Builder Application (pdf) (699.12 KB)
    • Built and reported at least one Indoor AirPlus certified home in the previous calendar year.
  • Indoor AirPlus 2026 Leader Award - Verification Organization Application (pdf) (660.55 KB)
    • Verified and reported at least one Indoor AirPlus certified home in previous calendar year.
    • Verification organizations must also be in good standing with their applicable oversight organization.
