Fuels Regulatory Streamlining Amendments Rulemaking

This action makes various revisions, updates, and corrections to EPA’s streamlined fuel quality regulations in 40 CFR part 1090.

Streamlining and Consolidating of Existing Gasoline and Diesel Fuel Programs

This action streamlined and modernized EPA's previous fuel quality regulations under 40 CFR part 80 into a new set of regulations under 40 CFR part 1090. This effort updated EPA's previous gasoline, diesel, and other fuel quality regulations to help reduce compliance costs for industry as well as EPA, while improving overall compliance assurance and maintaining environmental performance.
