Closure Assessment Guidelines for Tennessee Hazardous Waste Substance Underground Storage Tanks
Any Underground Storage Tank (UST) that was in use on or after December 22, 1988, must be permanently closed if taken out of use for more than a 12-month period and does not meet standards for new UST systems or the upgrade requirement for existing systems.
