Taggart Street Reopening Frequently Asked Questions

At-a-Glance Fast Facts

  • As of October 23rd, Taggart Street is open to normal traffic throughout the day. Restrictions remain in place to ensure worker and community safety.
  • The reduced speed limit near work areas is 15 mph. Traffic interruptions should be expected until final site activities are completed in early 2024. Please exercise caution as you drive.
  • Since Taggart is a two-lane, two-way street, it remains a no passing zone.
  • Site operations continue 24/7, with the heaviest truck traffic occurring during daytime hours (6 a.m. – 6 p.m.).
  • Site related traffic may create wait times of 15-30 minutes. To avoid delays, alternative routes are still encouraged.
  • Pedestrians are discouraged from walking along Taggart due to the amount of heavy equipment and truck traffic present, as well as the lack of continuous sidewalk.
