Wildfire Smoke and Health Factsheets

These factsheets were developed to accompany the 2026 Wildfire Smoke: A Guide for Public Health Officials. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency collaborated with the American Veterinary Medical Association, California Air Resources Board, California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, U.S. Forest Service, and Western States Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Units to develop this series of factsheets about a variety of smoke and health topics.
