NPDES Permit for Skagway Wastewater Treatment Plant in Alaska

On December 5, 2024, EPA renewed its wastewater permits for publicly owned treatment works in Haines, Sitka, Skagway, and Wrangell. The renewed permits will become effective November 1, 2025. Read EPA's press release.

Below is EPA's National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit for the Municipality of Skagway Borough Wastewater Treatment Plant in Alaska. The facility discharges primary treated effluent to Taiya Inlet under a Clean Water Act section 301(h)-modified permit.
