NPDES Permit, Fact Sheet, and Response to Comments for NPDES General Permit for Low Threat Discharge (LTGP) on Navajo Nation. This NPDES General Permit is intended to provide coverage to entities that discharge wastewater that is relatively pollutant free, below a specified volume, and/or for a limited time, within the Navajo Nation.

The currently effective permit was issued on: April 3, 2024
The currently effective permit shall become effective on: May 1, 2024
The currently effective permit shall expire at midnight on: April 30, 2029

    In compliance with the provisions of the Clean Water Act, discharges to waters of the United States in the Navajo Nation are authorized in accordance with this general National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (“NPDES”) permit.
