These documents describe methods for sampling and analysis of a variety of common pesticides and for polychlorinated biphenyls in ambient air:

The high volume (method TO-4A) sampler procedure is based on the adsorption of chemicals from ambient air on polyurethane foam (PUF).
The low volume (method TO-10A) procedure is based on the adsorption of chemicals from ambient air on PUF or a combination of PUF and granular sorbent.
