Fact Sheet About the Information Session Being Held for the Indiana Harbor Confined Disposal Facility

EPA and the Indiana Department of Environmental Management held an information session on the proposal to issue approvals to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the disposal of PCB-contaminated sediment that will be dredged from the Indiana Harbor and Canal. The information session was held on June 22, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the East Chicago Library, located at 2401 E. Columbus Drive in East Chicago, Indiana. This fact sheet provides the details of the information session, background about the facility and where to find more information.
