Amendments to the Operating & Monitoring Requirements for Sweat Furnaces Secondary Aluminum Production National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP)
The EPA published amendments to subpart RRR on September 18, 2015 that contain alternative compliance options for the operating requirements (see part 2 below) and monitoring requirements (see part 3 below) for sweat furnaces. This document summarizes the 2015 amendments to the standard that apply to the owners and operators of sweat furnaces.
