Public Hearing on EPA’s Proposed Amendments to the Bulk Gasoline Terminals NESHAP Review

Public Hearing on EPA’s Proposed Amendments to Air Toxics Standards for Bulk Gasoline Terminals and Standards of Performance

EPA will hold a virtual public hearing on June 27, 2022, to provide the public the opportunity to present comments and information on the Agency’s proposed amendments to air toxic standards for bulk gasoline terminals. These proposed rules would amend the Gasoline Distribution National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) to reflect cost-effective developments in practices, processes, or controls and propose a new “New Source Performance Standard” (NSPS) to reflect the best system of emission reduction. In addition, the proposed amendments include revisions related to emissions during periods of startup, shutdown, and malfunction; adding requirements for electronic reporting of performance test results, performance evaluation reports, and compliance reports; revising monitoring and operating requirements for control devices; and making other minor technical improvements. EPA will accept comment on the proposed amendments until August 9, 2022.

List of pre-registered speakers is provided below.

Hearing date: June 27, 2022.
