A Day in the Life of the Bronx River

August 13, 2013

The Bronx River Alliance brought together professional and citizen scientists for "A Day in the Life of the Bronx River." Attendees took part in a wide range of hands-on data collection and programming throughout the Bronx River watershed. Participants studied fish population, conducted eel mop surveys, monitored water quality, learned about the history of the river and its neighborhoods, and more! Everyone came together in the afternoon for a Data Exchange and Celebration that featured a floating food forest, music, and a report out on what groups found during their morning activities.

The Bronx River Alliance planned and hosted this event with funding provided by the Sarah K. de Coizart Article TENTH Perpetual Charitable Trust.
