Population Surrounding Underground Storage Tank facilities and UST release sites

Underground Storage Tank facilities and Underground Storage Tank release sites exist in thousands of communities across the United States ranging from remote to large urban settings. Many of them are located in economically distressed communities.

To help understand the communities nearby, EPA collected data on the population living within three, one, and a quarter mile(s) of UST facilities.
