What We Do

The Office of Budget & Performance empowers the agency to excel in its core mission by delivering essential budget oversight, expert strategic planning, and streamlined performance management through collaboration and reliable support. By overseeing budget formulation and operating planning, the office ensures alignment with the agency's goals and objectives, effectively allocating resources to achieve its mission.

The office uses visual management with regularly updated performance and workflow data to monitor progress toward EPA’s Strategic Plan targets, solve problems, and implement employee ideas.
