Air Sensor Outreach and Resources

EPA develops tools and resources to assist communities, states, Tribes, local organizations and others in learning about and sharing the potential uses of air sensors. This includes resources like educational lesson plans, increased access to air sensors through local loan programs, and newsletters and webinars about current research topics.

For more technical audiences, links to past conference presentations, workshop proceedings, technical webinars, and conferences/workshops are also provided.

Air Sensor Loan Programs

EPA has established air sensor loan programs independently and through collaborations with libraries, tribes, museums, and others to enable the public to learn about air quality in their communities. These programs bring air sensor technology to the public for supplemental monitoring and educational purposes.

Educational Resources

EPA and collaborators developed educational activities and curriculum which are available to the public. These resources may be used in group settings such as classrooms or community workshops, in other educational settings, or by individuals exploring on their own. These materials may also be adaptable for a variety of age groups from elementary school students to adults.
