Public Meeting and Open House

• Please join EPA for an open house and formal public meeting to discuss the 2026 Proposed Plan for Lead Directive Implementation. 
• Where: Montana Tech Library Auditorium: 1300 W Park St, Butte, MT 59701
• When: 
  • From 5:00-6:00 pm, EPA and site partners will be available for an in-person open house to discuss the proposed changes and to answer clarifying questions. 
  • From 6:00-7:00 pm, EPA will present the proposed changes in a formal presentation setting. This is expected to take approximately 20 minutes with the remainder of the time given over to the community to submit verbal public comments for the record. A stenographer will be present to record verbal public comments. 
  • Note that comments can be given in written form at any time for the duration of the public comment period. Please email written comments to EPAButtePPComments@epa.gov.
