The American Innovation and Manufacturing (AIM) Act authorizes EPA to address hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) by: phasing down their production and consumption, maximizing reclamation and minimizing releases from equipment, and facilitating the transition to next-generation technologies through sector-based restrictions on HFCs.
