Engagement Opportunities

EPA has been committed to prioritizing stakeholder engagement in the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund since immediately after the Inflation Reduction Act was signed by former President Biden. During the program design phase, EPA held two public townhalls, nearly two dozen targeted stakeholder meetings with state, local and Tribal governments, community financing institutions, industry groups, labor organizations, and environmental finance experts. EPA also focused on meeting stakeholders in neighborhoods across the country to tell the story of the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund.

EPA will continue to host webinars to answer questions and provide information on how grant recipients are developing and implementing their programs. This page will be updated as additional webinars and engagement opportunities become available.

Information Collection Request: GGRF Accomplishment Reporting

EPA has published reporting templates and guidance on the federal register as part of an Information Collection Request (ICR), open for public comment from Monday, August 26 to Wednesday, September 25.

EPA’s Office of the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (OGGRF) has submitted an information collection request (ICR) for GGRF Accomplishment Reporting (EPA ICR Number 2783.01, OMB Control Number 2090-New) to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and approval. This is a request for approval of collection of information from grantees of the National Clean Investment Fund (NCIF), Clean Communities Investment Accelerator (CCIA), and Solar for All (SFA) programs. This ICR covers the collection of information under awards for all three programs. EPA will use this information as part of program-wide public reporting.

Public comments were previously requested via the Federal Register on February 6, 2024, during a 60-day comment period. This notice allows for an additional 30 days for public comments. You can submit your comments, referencing Docket ID Number EPA-HQ-OA-2023-0393, to EPA online through www.regulations.gov (our preferred method) or by email to Docket_OMS@epa.gov. You can also submit written comments and recommendations to OMB for the proposed information collection within 30 days of publication of this notice.
