EPA History: Ozone Layer Depletion

Cover of EPA publication, "On the Trail of the Missing Ozone"
EPA published the On the Trail of the Missing Ozone booklet (pdf) way back in 1993. Although the information in it does not reflect the latest science about the ozone layer, we are presenting it because it remains a popular resource. For information about the current science of the ozone layer, see our Ozone Layer Protection website.
