17th Annual Conference and Project Expo

Saving the planet one landfill at a time logo

More than 600 attendees and 106 exhibitors participated in the 17th Annual LMOP Conference and Project Expo held in Baltimore, Maryland, from January 21–23, 2014. This year's event featured two days of technical sessions focusing on new technologies, project case studies, regulatory updates, and more. Once again, the conference highlighted landfills in search of development as part of the Project Expo and included a ceremony to present the 2013 LMOP Partner and Project of the Year Awards. Two projects and one community organization were recognized for their excellence in innovation and creativity, success in promoting landfill gas energy, and significant achievement of environmental and economic benefits. The sessions that took place at the conference and the speakers who presented are listed below.
