Important Considerations
Programs on this list are approved to provide the EPA Section 608 technician certification test.
Please consider:
- Most Type I programs provide on-site testing. Type I programs that offer a mail-in testing option are identified.
- The addresses and phone numbers listed below are for the programs' headquarters. Many programs offer testing locations throughout the country. Each program will be able to provide you with their testing locations. Some programs offer remote or online testing that does not require you to travel to a physical testing location.
- Programs marked with an asterisk ( * ) are intended specifically for the employees of those programs' companies.
Technician Certification Programs
EPA does not review or approve any training preparatory programs or materials. A separate listing of certifying programs that no longer offer testing services is available. Certification credentials issued by these programs during the time that they were approved are still valid.
