NAAS Account Setup for FRS API
A Network Authentication Authorization Services (NAAS) account is required to use the FRS API. If after reviewing these instructions you are unsure on what API to request reach out to FRS_Support@epa.gov (FRS help desk).
Send an email to the nodehelpdesk@epa.gov (CDX help desk) and cc the FRS_Support@epa.gov (FRS help desk) to request a Production NAAS account with the following information (note - pre-production FRS APIs use a Production NAAS account):
- Full Name
- NAAS Account Type: Production NAAS Account
- Email (used as the account user ID)
- Organization
- Supervisor’s Name
- Supervisor’s Email
- Choice of APIs (one or both)
- FRS Query API (receive data from FRS into the partner system)
- FRS Submit API (provide data from partner system to FRS).
- Reason for requesting access to the FRS API (https://www.epa.gov/frs/intergovernmental-frs-api)
The CDX team managing NAAS accounts will provision your NAAS account to have access based on your request. Note - use the nodehelpdesk@epa.gov for password resets or other NAAS related account questions.
The CDX help desk will work with the EPA approver to establish or update the NAAS account.
