Description

Scrap tires pose an enduring risk to public health and the environment on both sides of the US-Mexico border, and they remain a high priority for interested parties throughout the region. Therefore, the Border 2025 Goal 3 workgroup invites you to the final session of a three-part webinar series on scrap tire management. This webinar, with simultaneous English-Spanish interpretation, will build upon sessions 1 and 2 to outline state policies and programs in Mexico. It will also feature a speaker from Colombia who will share an international perspective on scrap tire management, discussing that nation’s national scrap tire Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) program.
