Public Notice: Opportunity to Comment on Notification of Discharge Requirements for Alta Gas Brush Energy Brush Power Plant in Colorado
Summary
The purpose of this notice is to state the EPA’s intention to issue a Notice of Discharge Requirements implementing the Categorical Pretreatment Standards found in 40 CFR Part 423 (Steam Electric Power Generating Point Source Category) and the Pretreatment Standards found in 40 CFR Part 403 (General Pretreatment Regulations).
Activity
Alta Gas Brush Energy is a steam electric power generating plant subject to Pretreatment Standards in the Steam Electric Power Generating Point Source Category. Alta Gas Brush Energy is authorized under the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit number CO-PF00104 to discharge the regulated wastewater to the City of Brush Publicly Owned Treatment Works. Authorization for discharge is limited to only those outfalls specifically listed in the notice of discharge requirements.
Public Comments
The public comment period ends 30 calendar days after the date of publication of this notice. Any interested person may submit written comments on the draft permit.
