Final Action

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region 9 is approving an Administrative Amendment for the Permit #: C-2023-6-R2 Source ID: 69. This approval pertains to the construction and operation of the Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians Power Generation Facility (Source), a power plant, to be located on the Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians Tribal Land, near Coachella, California. EPA is approving the Source’s request pursuant to the provisions of Clean Air Act (CAA) sections 110(a) and 301(d) and EPA’s Federal Indian Country Minor New Source Review (NSR) Program at Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) title 40, sections 49.151-161 (Tribal Minor NSR Program). This Approval is effective as of February 25, 2026.
