Case Studies about Water Quality Surveillance and Response Systems

Five drinking water utilities participated in pilot projects to design, implement, and operate SRSs as part of EPA’s Water Security Initiative (WSI) program. A number of reports were developed during and after these projects to document the status of the overall SRSs and their individual components.

Note: WSI documents refer to “Contamination Warning Systems (CWSs),” a term that has since been replaced by “Water Quality Surveillance and Response Systems (SRSs).”
