What We Do:
  • Serves as liaison between EPA and tribes on environmental issues
  • Implements Regional Consultation Policy to gain tribal input on major policy decisions
  • Convenes staff to share information on tribal grants/issues and provide training
  • Works with tribal partners on monthly/quarterly meeting agendas to discuss issues
  • Administers General Assistance Program grants to tribes that help build tribal capacity
  • Coordinates international visitors and documentation for staff traveling abroad

Office of Public Affairs (OPA)

Water, Wetlands and Pesticides Division (WWPD)
