  1. Consultation with Indian Tribes
    During development of the Steam Electric Effluent Guidelines proposed rule, EPA initiated consultation and coordination with federally-recognized tribal governments, pursuant to the EPA Policy on Consultation and Coordination with Indian Tribes.
  2. Consultations for Unfunded Mandates Reform Act (UMRA) and Executive Order on Federalism
    EPA consulted with elected state and local government officials and their representatives, pursuant to Executive Order 13132 entitled "Federalism," and UMRA.
