Criminal Enforcement Area and Resident Offices
The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) uses a field structure comprised of Area and Resident Offices within the 10 EPA Regions. CID Special Agents are stationed in each location, creating a nationwide federal presence - with the objective of placing agents where they need to be to effectively serve the public and investigate suspected environmental crimes.
