Guidance: Interpreting RCRA Section 3008(h)

Memorandum provides preliminary guidelines on the scope of section 3008(h) of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), added by the 1984 Hazardous and Solid Waste Amendments to RCRA. Issued 12/16/1985.

Section 3008(h) allows EPA to take enforcement action to require corrective action at an interim status hazardous waste treatment, storage, or disposal facility.
