Behind the numbers

Estimated GHG and fuel cost savings are cumulative estimates based on actual sales data and sales projections. The cumulative estimates begin with model year 2012 vehicles and continue to the current time, and are based on actual fuel economy and sales data from EPA's Fuel Economy Trends Report.
