This Fact Sheet provides handlers of hazardous waste located on Federally recognized Tribal Lands with information on how to obtain a Tribal RCRA ID number with a unique “XI” prefix. This XI prefix distinguishes hazardous waste generators located on tribal lands from State RCRA IDs (for example a CA prefix for California, indicating the generator is regulated by the state). - California Tribal Gasoline Permits
