This webinar, recorded on July 23, 2020, featured Paul Lemieux from EPA’s Office of Research and Development, presenting on “Incident Waste Decision Support Tool (I-WASTE).” I-WASTE can be used by emergency response authorities, waste industry stakeholders, as well as state, tribal and local agencies responsible for making waste management decisions. The tool provides access to guidance to work through important waste management issues to ensure public and worker safety during the removal, transport, treatment and disposal of contaminated waste, as well as tools to estimate waste quantities and locate potential treatment and disposal treatment.
