Current Opportunities, Grants and Solicitations
Grant-Funded Research in Environmental Economics
One responsibility of EPA's National Center for Environmental Economics (NCEE) is to promote and advance the field of environmental economics. NCEE uses grants or cooperative agreements awarded to qualified parties outside EPA to support this work, as funds are available and when the activities are primarily for the benefit of the public.
NCEE awards funds through an open and competitive process by soliciting proposals from any eligible and qualified applicants. Although it was previously possible for NCEE to consider unsolicited proposals, we are no longer able to do so.
Opportunities and solicitations will be posted on this page when available.
Notice of Willingness to Participate in Funding Opportunities of Other Federal Agencies
Opportunity to Participate: Researchers within NCEE may be willing and available to participate with an eligible institution to prepare a joint assistance application in response to a Request for Application (RFA) issued by another federal agency. Depending upon the circumstances, EPA may request some of the assistance funding or may be willing to participate as an unfunded collaborator.
