Ports Primer: A3. Glossary

The Ports Primer for Communities Glossary is located in the Terminology Services area of the EPA website.  This glossary was developed specifically for web users who are accessing the Ports Primer for Communities webpages and was developed courtesy of the American Association of Port Authorities, National Cooperative Freight Research Program, Starcrest Consulting Group and the U.S. Department of Transportation. 

There are two ways to access the definitions of terms and acronyms as noted below.

1. Navigate to the glossary by clicking this link:  Ports Primer for Communities Glossary, or

2. Terms within the Ports Primer webpage content that are defined in the glossary have a dotted line underneath them.  When the user clicks on these terms the definition will pop-up in a window next to the term.  When the user clicks the "red X" in the pop-up window the definition window will close.
