Engaging and Collaborating with States in EPA Research Webinar Archive

This webinar, recorded on June 17, 2020, featured Lisa Matthews, Senior Advisor and State Liaison of EPA’s Office of Research and Development; Abraham Kulungara, Senior Director of Environmental Health at the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO); Nicholas Porter, Director of Environmental Health at ASTHO; and Sarah Grace Longsworth, Project Manager at the Environmental Council of the States (ECOS), co-presenting on “Engaging and Collaborating with States in EPA Research.” This webinar provided an overview of the resources available to state environmental and health agencies to leverage EPA research and expertise to address on the ground environmental health challenges. This webinar also highlighted mutually beneficial projects stemming from EPA’s partnership with state environmental and public health agencies – including the PFAS Risk Communication Hub and the Wildfire Smoke Guide for Public Health Officials.
