State Resources

Across the U.S., many states have shown strong leadership in creating and implementing energy strategies that reduce air pollution while also achieving other environmental, economic, and energy goals, such as:

  • improving air quality,
  • lowering energy costs,
  • supporting local economic development,
  • improving public health, and
  • increasing energy system reliability

The State Climate and Energy Program offers free tools and technical expertise about energy strategies, including energy efficiency, renewable energy and other emerging technologies, to help interested state governments understand and maximize these benefits.
