EMC provides information on test methods for measuring air pollutants from smokestacks and other industrial sources.

  • Clean Air Technology Center (CATC)

CATC provides access to resources about air pollution prevention and control technologies, including the RACT/BACT/LAER Clearinghouse.

  • Clearinghouse for Inventories and Emissions Factors (CHIEF)

CHIEF provides information on air emissions inventories and modeling, emissions factors, electronic reporting and the emissions monitoring knowledge base.

Analyzing Air Pollution Impacts and Control

  • Air Quality Analysis

AQA provides the documented analyses that support the NAAQS Review process, as well as other documented analyses of special interest.

  • Economic and Cost Analysis (ECAS) for Air Pollution Regulations

ECAS provides tools, including databases and models, for analyzing costs, benefits, and economic impacts of air quality management strategies, programs, and regulations.

  • Fate, Exposure, and Risk Analysis (FERA)

FERA provides tools used to evaluate the health risks and environmental effects associated with exposure to criteria air pollutants and toxic air pollutants.

National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS)

  • Scientific and technical information about NAAQS reviews

This site provides scientific and technical information about current and prior reviews of the six common air pollutants.

Air Modeling

  • Support Center for Regulatory Atmospheric Modeling (SCRAM)

Atmospheric dispersion models that support Clean Air Act regulatory programs.

Air Monitoring

  • Air Quality System (AQS)

AQS provides data from thousands of ambient air monitors, meteorological data, and data quality assurance/quality control information.

  • Ambient Monitoring Technology Information Center (AMTIC)
