10th Anniversary Urban Waters Federal Partnership


The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the U.S. Department of the Interior, 13 other federal agencies, and non-governmental partners commemorated the 10th anniversary and a decade of accomplishments under the Urban Waters Federal Partnership while pledging their recommitment to this partnership. This 2 day event highlighted how the 20 partnership locations across the country are advancing economic, public health, environmental, and social benefits by enhancing community connections to water.
Day 1: November 9, 2021 (2-3:30pm EST)

- Recommit to the UWFP for the next ten years:
- Reaffirm original UW Vision, Mission, and Principles
- Commit to a plan for the next ten years: Framework for the Future
- NGO recommitment letter
Day 2: December 1, 2021 (10am-2pm EST)
- Climate Equity Workshop
- Youth Engagement & Job Creation Workshop
