Emissions Science Improvements: Temporal and Spatial Allocations
Plans for improving temporal and spatial resolutions for air quality models.
This document outlines our plans on which sectors need to be better assessed/improved for their temporal characterization in the 2020 NEI. This is important especially for the year 2020 since it was a COVID year, and it is expected that there will more needs for data a higher temporal level, especially for the nonpoint and mobile source categories, which are inventoried at an annual level in the NEI.
