Emissions Science Improvements: Emission Sectors

Plans for new and improved emissions approaches.

Proposed New Methods (xlsx) (15.61 KB, December 2021)  This document identifies all of the potential projects we could work on that fit under “methods improvement/method update” for the NEI and related work products in EIAG.  Each item includes some notes along with an indication of “impact on NEI” and “resources required”.  Also included is mention of staff in EIAG that would lead up potential efforts.

Sector Priorities 2023 NEI (docx) (20.91 KB, May 2022)   This document identifies a smaller set of priorities for the 2023 NEI.  We will take comment on these suggestions before deciding on which projects to officially list in our 2023 NEI Plan. As with the previous file, EIAG staff leads are listed for each of the proposed projects.

Development and Collaboration for Emissions Estimation Methods (docx) (612.21 KB, December 2021) This document outlines the approach for developing and improving emissions estimation methods for the NEI using a collaborative, science-driven approach. This document provides potential collaborators with an overview of our work with stakeholders to improve the NEI.
