Get Air Emissions Data

Welcome to the one-stop shop for NEI-based data, organized by Inventory Year.

Some inventory years do not include all of our data products. For example, the full National Emissions Inventory (NEI), which covers all data categories (point, nonpoint, onroad, and nonroad)  is currently done on a triennial basis, and the latest release is 2020. However, for modeling purposes, a 2022 platform was created, for which some of the latest 2022 data was incorporated. 

The "Facility Summaries by Pollutant" are too large to open with Microsoft Excel. You can attempt to import these CSVs using Microsoft Access, or utilize other programming techniques such as breaking the file into several discrete files for import.
