Colorado Operating Permit Program Approval History

The EPA has granted full approval for the Colorado Title V operating permit program.

October 16, 2000

Full Final Approval and Approval of Expansion of State Program Under Section 112(l): Direct final rule, published on August 16, 2000 in the Federal Register at 65 FR 49919. Colorado received approval of its 112(l) mechanism for delegation of part 70 sources with its title V interim program approval (January 24, 1995). In this action, EPA also approved the expansion of Colorado’s program for receiving delegation of section 112 standards to include non-part 70 sources.

Final Interim Approval: Published on January 24, 1995 in the Federal Register at 60 FR 4563.

October 14, 1995

Proposed Interim Approval: EPA deemed program administratively complete in letter dated December 28, 1993. Proposed Interim Approval published on October 14, 1994 in the Federal Register at 59 FR 52123. Governor of Colorado submitted program on November 5, 1993; EPA required comments by November 14, 1994.
