This page contains documents related to EPA's approval of Suncore Construction and Materials Inc.'s request for coverage under the general air quality permit for new or modified minor source hot mix asphalt plants in Indian Country (HMA General Permit) for a portable plant at the Gateway Pit near Pocatello, Idaho on the Fort Hall Reservation.

  • The EPA originally approved Suncore Construction and Material Inc.'s request for coverage on June 21, 2023.  
  • An administrative revision (permit ID: R10-TNSR-036-01) was approved and became effective on March 31, 2026 to account for the replacement of equipment and business name change. This revision did not result in an increase in emissions. 
  • An administrative revision (permit ID: R10-TNSR-036-02) was approved and became effective on September 8, 2026. This revision accounted for the replacement of the original two generators with three new generators. This revision did not result in an increase in emissions.
