Below are documents related to EPA's approval of Suncore Construction & Materials' Request for Coverage under the General Air Quality Permit for New or Modified Minor Source Stone Quarrying, Crushing and Screening Facilities in Indian Country (SQCS General Permit) for a portable plant at the Gateway Pit on the Fort Hall Reservation, near Pocatello, Idaho.
- The EPA originally approved Suncore's request for coverage on May 15, 2023 under permit R10-TNSR-033-01. This approval action rescinded a synthetic minor New Source Review permit issued to J.K. Merrill and Sons to operate an SQCS facility at the site (permit R10TNSR03200, rescinded).
- An administrative revision was approved on April 3, 2026 to account for the change of company name (from Sunroc to Suncore Construction & Materials) (R10-TNSR-033-02)
- An administrative revision was approved on September 8, 2026 to account for additional equipment added to the SQCS facility (R10-TNSR-033-03).
