Any site where a pesticide, active ingredient used to produce a pesticide, or device is produced. In addition to the manufacturing and formulation of pesticides, production also includes any packaging, repackaging, labeling or relabeling of a pesticide or device.
Sites that produce these products and are independently owned or operated regardless of whether such site is:
- Domestic and only producing for export from the United States
- Foreign and producing for import into the United States
Sites that produce a pesticidal product for use under an Experimental Use Permit, Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) Section 18 Emergency Exemption or Section 24(c) Special Local Need registration.
Sites that produce unregistered pesticidal products for export from the United States.
