Training Video

This presentation focuses on the most common effluent violations that occur at public drinking water systems, why they occur, and what operators can do to avoid them. The speaker discusses chlorine and chloramines disinfection byproducts, suspended solids, dissolved solids, metals, and pH.

Presenters

  • Jonathan Moody, PE has worked for EPA Region 5 since 2010 performing compliance inspections under several statutes including the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System and the Safe Drinking Water Act.  Prior to working for EPA, Jonathan worked as a civil engineer providing design services to clients in the land development and transportation industries.  Jonathan is a licensed professional engineer with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineer and masters of engineering in environmental engineer.
