Our MOVES courses are designed to be self-taught in periods when no classes are scheduled.

The MOVES Hands-On Training Course (available at MOVES Training page) provides detailed instruction on using MOVES at the Default, County, and Project Scales, with an emphasis on using County Scale in both Inventory and Emission Rates modes. It also includes using MOVES for nonroad emissions.
Our Project Level Training for Quantitative PM Hot-Spot Analyses provides detailed instruction on using MOVES at the Project Scale to estimate emissions. This training covers other aspects of completing a PM hot-spot analysis, such as using AERMOD, EPA’s dispersion model, to estimate pollutant concentrations in the atmosphere as a result of those emissions and calculating design concentrations.
