Michigan NSR Program Evaluation
During Federal Fiscal Year 2025, as part of its ongoing oversight of state and local New Source Review and Title V permit programs, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency conducted an evaluation of the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy’s New Source Review Permit to Install program. This final report summarizes the EPA’s findings and conclusions regarding EGLE’s compliance with the statutory and regulatory requirements for NSR permitting programs.
