Project Description
Downriver Utility Wastewater Authority will implement a combination of projects to increase the resiliency and reliability of its system serving 13 communities throughout Wayne County. This includes the construction of biosolids dryers to replace the current reliance of landfilling to manage solid waste disposal. In addition, the Authority will rehabilitate the sewer and manholes and repair the electrical system and other critical equipment. Together, these projects will significantly extend the useful life of the utility's systems and save operating costs.
